If \({b^2} - 4ac > 0\) then we will get two real solutions to the quadratic equation, If \({b^2} - 4ac = 0\) then we will get a double root to the quadratic equation. If \({b^2} - 4ac < 0\) then we will get two complex solutions to the quadratic equation.
