For one to become a pharmaceutical scientist, one must be very good in the basic sciences, that is, biology, chemistry and physics at the high school level. In the University, one has to go for a pharmaceutical course that will gives one a deep foundation in the pharmaceutical field. After the bachelor degree, one has to go for the Pharm D program, which will confers on one the qualification of a doctor in pharmaceutical science. This doctorate degree is needed to carry out scientific works in the pharmaceutical field. As a pharmaceutical scientist, you will be at the fore front of drug discovery.
