Nettles, king, and tanaka are partners sharing income 3:2:1. after the firm's loss from liquidation is distributed, the capital account balances were: nettles, $48,000 dr.; king, $178,000 cr.; and tanaka, $124,000 cr. if nettles is personally bankrupt and unable to pay any of the $48,000, what will be the amount of cash received by king and tanaka upon liquidation? if an amount is zero, enter in 0. use the minus sign to indicate any deficiencies.

So the total ratio amounts to 3,2,1 which add up to 8. At liquidation the total capital amounts to 178,000 - 124,000 = $56,000. Initially Nettle's share amounts to 3/6 * 56,000 = $28,000. Nettles doesn't receive anything. He still owes $48,000 - 28,000 = $20,000 while King receives 2/6 * $56,000 = $18, 667 and Tanaka 3/6 * $56,0000 = $28,000
