Chhose two point and locate its coordinates

(0, 0) and (1, 4)

x₁ =0 y₁ = 0 x₂=1 y₂=4

Find the slope

\text{slope(m) =}(4-0)/(1-0)

slope = 4

Intercept (b) = 0

substitute m = 4 and b = 0 into y =mx+ b

y = 4x + 0

The equation of the line is;

y = 4x
