(5 × 27) + x = 189

Next, you would need to solve it.
(5 × 27) + x = 189
135 + x = 189
x = 54

There is a total of 54 spinners... But, we are not done!

Now, all you would need to divide the sum by the number of students.
54 ÷ 27 = 2

There are 2 spinners per student.

To find the answer find out how many cubes there are altogether. 27 student with 5 cubes each = 135.

Take away 135 from the 189 , and you'll get the rest left that are spinners, which is 54.

54/27= 2 so

There are 2 spinners for each student.
