Why are fossils considered to be an incomplete record of evolution easy notecards?

The fossil record, conversely, is somewhat incomplete. The major reason is sediment has to shelter an organism's remnants in order for the lengthy fossilization procedure to start. Most organisms decay before this can occur. Because the formation of any fossil hinge on upon the exact combination of circumstances. For every organism that leaves a fossil, many more die without leaving a hint.
