Given that
x is a standard normal random variable.
P(-1.20 < x < 1.74) = P(x < 1.74) - P(x < -1.20)
= P(x < 1.74) - [1 - P(x < 1.20)] = P(x < 1.74) + P(x < 1.20) - 1
= 0.95907 + 0.88493 - 1 = 0.844
