Answer:

Every Rational number when multiply by 0.5 produces a rational number.

Explanation:

Rational Number is a number that can be changed in the formation of
(p)/(q), where p & q are real numbers and q ≠ 0.

Even a natural number can also be a rational number since it can be change into
(number)/(1)

So, the every rational number when multiply by 0.5 produces a rational number. For example: 2 × 0.5 = 1 (rational number)

7 × 0.5 = 3.5 (rational number)

42.63 × 0.5 = 21.315 (rational number)

But,
√(2)*0.5 = irrational as it has non terminating decimal number (also
√(2) is irrational number)
