c. An aluminum pot has a mass of 500
g. How many calories of heat are required to raise the temperature 1 degrees Celcius

We can use the formula of
E = mc△T to solve it.
Usually E is for energy in joules, but in this case calories will work in it too.
m is mass, c is specific heat capacity and △T is the temperature change.
Substitute the numbers in it
E = 500 x 0.215 x 1
E = 107.5 cal.
