the formula to find the mean is:


M=(x_1+x_2+\cdots+x_n)/(n)

So for our problem n is equal to 4 so:


M=(-2.36+1.68-1.81+0.67)/(4)

so noy we simplify it so:


\begin{gathered} M=(-1.82)/(4) \\ M=-0.45 \end{gathered}
