MACBETH. Cure her of that.

Canst thou not minister to a mind diseased,
Pluck from the memory a rooted sorrow,
Raze out the written troubles of the brain,
And with some sweet oblivious antidote
Cleanse the stuffed bosom of that perilous stuff
Which weighs upon the heart?

In these lines from Act V of The Tragedy of Macbeth by William Shakespeare, what emotion does Macbeth express toward the doctor?

indifference

fear

sadness

anger

In this passage Macbeth is asking the doctor to cure her, however he replies to him that her illness is not physical, “Doctor -Not so sick, my lord, as she is troubled with thick-coming fancies that keep her from rest-” and the excerpt above is Macbeth’s reply to that, we can see his frustration against the doctor, the feeling that best describe this is anger.
