The triangle formed is a right triangle

AB = 192 = distance from base of buiding to your feet

BC = height of building

Taking angle 23 as the reference angle,

adjacent side = 192

opposite side = BC

We would calculate BC by applying the tangent trigonometric ratio which is expressed as

tan θ = opposite side/adjacent side

By substituting the given values,

tan23 = BC/192

By crossmultiplying,

BC = 192tan23

BC = 81.499

Rounding to the nearest whole number,

height of building = 82 feet
