I HAVE A POEM DUE THIS WEEK AND I NEED HELP WITH AND MY POEM NEED TO INCLUDE

• One of the forms studied (sonnet, free verse, lyric, narrative)
• At least one of these poetic devices: first-person point of view, rhyme, repetition, or meter
• Two or more uses of figurative language: metaphor, simile, personification, alliteration, hyperbole, allusion

My best friends
They are sweet
They are kind
Yes, they have a crazy mind
But that’s fine
Because they are my best friends
They always know what to say
When I’m mad or when I’m sad
They let me be me
And I let them be them

I love them dearly
And wish that they grow
Bloom like flowers in spring
But do not wilt in winter
They simply, securely, surely, safely,
Survive the strain of life
