Discuss the adaptive value of fermentation? explain if a yeast cell if given a choice would prefer to conduct fermentation of cellular respiration.

Answer: Cells using fermentation only get 2 ATP per glucose molecule. Using aerobic respiration they get 32-36 ATP per glucose. So they don't need to consume as much glucose to get the same amount of ATP.
