it should be 69 chromosomes if the normal diploid cell has 46 chromosomes before meiosis. So when one gamete contains 46 chromosomes after an error in meiosis, it fuses with another normal gamete with 23 chromosomes. hence the offspring will have 46+23=69 chromosomes.

Diploid cell denotes a cell that contains two sets of chromosomes, one set inherited from each parent. Meiosis cuts the number of chromosomal sets in half.

After fertilization, each offspring would have 46 chromosomes in its diploid cells.in each human gamete are found 23 chromosomes.
