The top and bottom are identical, so we can multiply one side by 2 to get the total for them. One of those sides is actually just made up of 5 regular triangles, each of which have b = 8 and h = 5.5, so A = (8 x 5.5)/2 =22 cm^2, and that's per triangle. So one full side is 5 x 22 = 110 cm^2, two so 220 cm^2, now the rectangular sides which are 6 cm x 8 cm each, which is 48 cm^2. Times 5 since there's five of them and that's 240 cm^2. Add that to the first number for the top and bottom faces and you get 460 cm^2
