A 5kg ball is initially at rest at the top of a hill 10m high. if it rolls down the hill (converting all of its potential energy to kinetic energy), what is the maximum kinetic energy it could have at the bottom of the hill?

The maximum kinetic energy the ball can have at the bottom will be equal to the potential energy of the ball at the top. Ep=mah; Ep= potential energy, m= mass, a= gravitational constant Ep=(5kg)(9.8m/s^2)(10m) Ep=490j of potential energy at max height. Therefore Max Ek at bottom is 490j.
