In order to find the slope of the line, use the equation:
(y^2-y^1)/(x^2-x^2)

To find the slope, plug in the y values on the top and the x values on the bottom (make sure to never switch up the positions though!!) and simplify:

(17+10)/(8+7) = (27)/(15) = (9)/(5)

The answer is m=9/5

-7 over -5 would be the slope because you subtract Y2 from Y1 and X2 from X1
