To graph the function determine the value of y for different value of x.

For x = -2,

\begin{gathered} y=((1)/(2))^(-2) \\ =2^2 \\ =4 \end{gathered}

For x = -1,

\begin{gathered} y=((1)/(2))^(-1) \\ =2 \end{gathered}

For x =0,

\begin{gathered} y=((1)/(2))^0 \\ =1 \end{gathered}

For x = 1,

\begin{gathered} y=((1)/(2))^1 \\ =(1)/(2) \\ =0.5 \end{gathered}

For x = 2,

\begin{gathered} y=((1)/(2))^2 \\ =(1)/(4) \\ =0.25 \end{gathered}

Plot the graph for the function by joining the points.
