There's only one problem: -5-(-2)

If two negatives are joined together, it will create a plus (+). Therefore, the problem will be: -5+2. Since the negative is in front, you subtract the 5 and 2, and put a negative in front of the number. That would result in: -3.

-5 + 2

-5 + 2 = -3

-3 is your answer
