How does the length of a senator's term affect the way he or she votes during sessions

It enables the senator to actually vote for what the people want and not for things that would keep them in power. Since they get elected all the time, they have to vote for things that will get them elected again, that is do what the people want. If they were there forever then they could just vote for what the current main power wants and stay in power thanks to support to the president.
