What is the term used when union workers refuse to work due to contractual disagreements

When workers refuse to to work in large numbers, this is called a labor strike, or just strike. Union workers use the pressure of their importance to the production of a company to try to persuade their employers to come to the negotiating table, and to give them leverage in negotiations.
