Actual distance around the bases = 4 x 90 = 360 feet.

At a scale factor of 1/100, let's determine the scaled distance around the bases.

Scaled distance around the bases = Actual distance around the bases x 1/100

= 360 x 1/100

= 3.6 ft.

Therefore, the distance around the bases when scaled is 3.6 ft.
