Use C as the variable to find the cost of using the copier.
C=0.5x+1 since it costs .50 per page meaning the x is how many pages and 1 is the constant because it will always cost 1$ to use the copier.

the time it takes to copy pages varies directly with the number of pages being copied the copier at your office can copy 21 color pages per minute and 40 black and white pages per minute approximately.
