8(b+1)+4=3(2b-8) i dont lnow what this is please help.

distribute the 8 to whatever is in the parentheses. So 8b+8+4. Same on the other side 6b-24. So 8b+12=6b-24. Subtract 6b on both sides. Subtract 12 on both sides. You get 2b=-36. Divide both sides by 2. b=-18
