Does the following set of ordered pairs make up a relation? If so, is the relation also a function? Why or Why not? {(2, 2), (3,3), (4,4), (5,5),(5,6), (7,7)}

The given set is

\left\{ \left(2,2\right),(3,3),(4,4),(5,5),\left(5,6\right),(7,7)\right\}

This set represents a relation since is associating the elements of two sets.

On the other hand, this doesn't represent a function sin (5,5) and (5,6) violate the rule that defines a function, that is, an input element can't have two different outputs.
