Farming societies emerged during the neolithic era, but there were still hunter gatherers in places such as The south African bushmen and most ‘Native Americans’. In the near lithic era people change from being nomadic to starting to settle in small towns or cities

Answer:

Stone was shaped and polished for specific purposes.

Step-by-step explanation:

The Neolithic Age ("New" Stone Age) followed the Palaeolithic Age ("Old" Stone Age). However, the specific dates vary depending on the region of the world we are discussing. One of the main changes that took place during the Neolithic was the introduction of stone tools that were shaped and polished in different ways for specific purposes. While the Palaeolithic also showed stone tools, these were usually just chipped wood and tools that were not sharpened.
