Greetings!

Simplify the Expression.

=(-2)/(3)(12c-9)+14c

Distribute the Parenthesis.
How? Multiply the terms inside the Parenthesis by the term outside of the Parenthesis.

=(-2)/(3)*12c-(-2)/(3)*9+14c

=(-2)/(3)*(12)/(1)c-(-2)/(3)*(9)/(1)+14c

=(-24)/(3)c-(-18)/(3)+14c

Combine Like Terms.

=(-24)/(3)c+(14)/(1)c-(-18)/(3)

=(18)/(3)c-(-18)/(3)

Reduce to Lowest Terms.

=6c-6

The Answer Is:

\left[\begin{array}{ccc}=6c-6\end{array}\right]

Hope this helps.
