pythagorean theorum- a²+ b² = c²
C² is always the hypotenuse, and the two legs are a² and b².
When you plug the numbers in, you get 12²+b²=19²
Simplify: 144+b²2=361
b²=361-144
b²=217
b=√217
b=14.7

Hello,

to find other side ;

a = √ hypo^2- leg^2
so, a = √19^2-12^2

therefore it is 14.7

Hope this helps.
