First add, second *, then -

One should add the 7 and the 4 in the parenthesis. Follow PEMDAS that states that parenthesis should be adhered to first. Next, you multiply by 5. Lastly, you would end with subtracting it all from 20.

7+4=11
11*5=55
20-55= -35
