A rectangle has area and length as indicated in the figure. Find the width of the rectangle A=27t^2-18t L=9t

An area of a rectangle is simply the product of length and its width. So the formula is simply:

A = l w

Given the equations of area and length, we can directly calculate for w:

w = A / l

w = (27t^2-18t ) / 9t

w = 3t - 2
