Midpoint is (x2+x1) /2 , y2+y1 /2)
(7-1 /2, 3+2 /2)
=(3,5/2)

Answer: Midpoint would be,

(3,2.5)

Explanation:

Wec know that,

The coordinates of the midpoint of a line segment having the endpoints
(x_1,y_1) and
(x_2,y_2) are,

((x_1+x_2)/(2),(y_1+y_2)/(2))

Hence, the coordinates of the midpoint of the segment having endpoints (-1 ,2) and (7, 3) would be,

((-1+7)/(2),(2+3)/(2))

=((6)/(2), (5)/(2))

=(3,2.5)
