It will take them 4 hours because if you take 2/3, it is = to 4/6 and 1/6 times 4 is 4/6

Answer: 4 hours

Explanation:

Given : A construction company is building a fence that is
(2)/(3) mile long.

i.e. Length of fence =
(2)/(3) mile .

They can build
(1)/(6) mile of fence every hour.

i..e Time taken to build
(1)/(6) mile fence= 1 hour

Then, Time taken to build 1 mile fence=
(1)/((1)/(6))=6\text{ hour} [By Unitary method]

Then , Time taken to build
(2)/(3) mile fence =
(2)/(3)*6\text{ hour}

=4 hours.

Hence, it will take 4 hours to complete the fence.
