To find out what z is, you have to work backwards. In this case, divide -77.5 by 15.5 to get the value of z, like so:

-77.5/15.5 = -5

To check, plug in -5 for z to see if it's correct:

15.5*-5 = -77.5

z = -5 :)

Hi there!

Step 1: Divide both sides by 15.5,

z = -77.5 / 15.5

Step 2: Do the division.

-77/5 / 15.5 = -5.

z = -5

Hope this helps! ♥♥
