Elizabeth had a box of 24 crayons. Her little brother ate 2 of them. She split the remaining crayons between her and her 2 friends. How many crayons did each friend get?

Hi there!

So, she has 22 crayons, because her brother ate 2 of them. She split them with 3 people, (herself, and her two friends.) So, divide 22 / 3, which is ≈7.

Hope this helps!! ♥♥

24 - 2 (the 2 that he ate) = 22. 22 ÷ 3 (for her and 2 friends) = 7 1/3.
