Parallel lines have the same slope but different y intercepts. First label the m,x,and y using the information given to you.
m:3
x:1
y:6
Now substitute into y=my+b
6=3(1)+b
6=3+b
Subtract 3 from both sides and b equals 3
Your new equation is y=3x+3
