Help Me Plzzzzz....??

How do you use listing and itemizing to develop a short story?

A. Form a group with classmates. Write a sentence in which you tell something
about yourself. Pass the paper around until each person has added at least
one new sentence connected to the previous ones. Read the sentences aloud.

B. Draw and label a map of a place that is meaningful to you. Study the map.
Choose special incidents you associate with each area.

C. Write down choices about who your main character might be. Circle the most
interesting choice. Then create other ideas about the circled item, and review
for the elements you need. If you do not find these elements, repeat the
process.

D. Grab a pen, and start writing about special times in your life. Focus on getting
down as many ideas as you can. After five minutes, read what you’ve written.

if this is a question from yourself(like not from a test) you could honestly do any of these. You could also do them all together and make something detailed.

What i personally do is write down different ideas for about 9-20 minutes. Find about five that i like and then start on the character. Then i figure out what type of story i want to write using that character. Then figure out the background and the plot. since it is a short story the plot is usly something really simple. But you may want to end up making more short story with it so it is really up to you.
