Answer:

communications, technology, and weapons

Step-by-step explanation:

The peoples who were colonized were made up of ethnicities and groups of people living in a system totally different from the European model. For these people, there was not even the concept of a nation, they were people who lived on subsistence and were considered "wild people" by Europeans.

It is important to note that some of these tribes were very intelligent, such as the Mayans and Incas who developed modern post and construction technologies for the period. However, none of these populations possessed weapon technology like the Europeans, who devastated entire civilizations and colonized what would become other nations. The communication of these peoples was also complex, basically composed of several dialects, unlike the Europeans, they could not organize in large groups for lack of a common language.

Colonized nations were dominated by European countries because they possessed inferior communications, technology, and weapons.

When Europeans arrived in America, the Aztecs and Mayas of Central America had developed empires sustained by large-scale agriculture and long-distance trade. On the other hand, what contributed to European domination was the development of new technologies and the creation of better maps and navigation techniques. The invaders carried pathogens that set off pandemics of smallpox, plague, and other illnesses to which Indians had no immunity. On top of that, Europeans had developed fire-guns that, even being very rustic, still had a huge advance against native indigenous weapons, mostly based in bow and arrows.
