So from the question given

Y is the amount of money make for every 10 ticket sold

so x is our variable

since x represent the number of ticket sold

Student B is the one that is correct

y= 1/2x

because y = 1/2 of x

so if they sold 10 tickets

Then y = 1/2 of 10

= 1/2 x 10 = 5

y = $5
