What is franklin's purpose in suppressing his "opinions" for the "public good?

He says that a great part of the quality and effectiveness of an administration relies upon the general conclusion of everybody included. He smothered his assessments to offer assistance. The Constitution was most likely the best thought for us and he would not like to mix up strife about it. On the off chance that the general assessment of everybody is that it's a decent arrangement it will be great.
