This led to rise of totalitarian regimes across Europe and world. These regimes promised that they will prosperity and blamed everyone else for the bad things that were happening. They insisted on the spreading of their territory, which eventually led to WW2.

WW2 was even greater conflict than WW1. It was started by Nazi Germany but it involved most of the world. It led to rearrangement of relations between countries and division of world into two ideological parts.
