Hi there!
Let's us Substitution, as it appears to be the easiest one. We can solve the second equation for y.

4x - 2y = 2

-2y=-4x+2

y=2x-1
Now that we have found the expression for y, we can substitute it back into the first equation.

6x + 4y = -8

6x+4(2x-1)=-8
Next, just solve for x.

6x+4(2x-1)=-8

6x+8x-4=-8

14x-4=-8

14x=-4

x =-(2)/(7)
We have found the x-value of the system of equation, now we have to find the y-value. To do this, we can substitute the derived x-value into any equation, I'll be doing it in the first equation. When we substitute -2/7 into the first equation and solve for y, we get -11/7. Therefore, the solutions to the system of equations are -2/7 and -11/7. Hope my answer has come of assistance you and have a phenomenal day!
