His disposable income after expenses is 2464-1999=465 at most. If x represents his expenses and y his savings, then 1999≤x≤2464 and y≤2464-x | 1999≤x≤2464. Set x to the lower limit and y≤465 and then set x to the upper limit so y≤0.
