Hi, when I was going over the lesson with my brother, these were the options we saw that were available:

A. They were printed on the covers of German books. 


B. They show scenes from everyday life. 


C. They show imaginary scenes.

And the answer we chose is "B. They show scenes from everyday life". If you look at any of Winslow Homer's paintings you see people living their normal lives.
