I believe it is D because it is giving data about the garlic while the other answers are observations of the garlic

Answer: Option (D) is the correct answer.

Step-by-step explanation:

A qualitative observation is defined as the observation which can only be expressed in word and not in numbers.

For example, Garlic has strong pungent odor.

This basically describes the quality of garlic that we can never express through numbers.

Whereas a quantitative observation is defined as the observation that can be expressed by number only.

For example, Garlic contains 84% water and 13% organic matter.

This shows that amount of water and organic matter present in a garlic. Hence, it is a quantitative observation.

Thus, we can conclude that out of the given options garlic contains 84% water and 13% organic matter, is NOT a qualitative observation.
