The length of a rectangular garden is 9 feet longer than its width. the garden's perimeter is 202 feet. find the length of the garden.

202 - 18 = 184 (the length is 9ft longer than the width, and you double the length to find the perimeter, so you double the 9)
184 ÷ 4 = 46 (4 being the 4 sides of the rectangle)
width = 46
length = 46 + 9 = 55

55 x 46 = 2530

Area = 2530ft²
