1. Find the GCF: -3
2. Factor it out with GCF: -3(x^3-6x^2+8x)
3. Factor (x^3-6x^2+8x)
4. That would result in: x(x-2)(x-4)
5. Put it all together: -3x(x-2)(x-4)

(x-2)(-3+12)

I like to use a factoring chart to do problems like that. The factors of the coefficient of x^3 goes on the left. The factors of the coefficient of x goes on the right and you find a pair that cross multiplies and then adds to the coefficient of the x^2
