The slope of the line formula:
(y_2 - y_1)/(x_2 - x_1)

Next, you would have to plug in the coordinates.

(6 - 2)/(9 + 7)

Now, all you would have to do is solve and simplify it.

(6 - 2)/(9 + 7)=
(4)/(16) =
(1)/(4)

The slope would be
(1)/(4).
