The authors consider the government itself to be the greatest enemy threatening their liberty. In the petition of the inhabitances west of the Ohio river, the writers explain that the reason they ar writing is due to the fact that the government was trying to disposses them of the of the land they were inhabiting west of Ohio river. The writers plead with congress to protect their liberty and allow them to continue inhabiting the land.

they consider Bureaucracy as the greatest enemies of liberty.
The more bureaucracy exist, the more power will fall to the hand of the central government. These power basically limit the movement of normal civilians and the Government had every capabilities to restrict us through military power or law and regulations.
