The radius of the Sun is R = 6.96X10^8m and so the volume of the sun is 1.41X10^27m3. The mass of the sun is M = 1.99X10^50kg. Density of the sun is 1.41X10^3kg/m3. The sun has a density very similar to the Outer planets because it is a big ball of gas, like the Gas giant planets.
